Solid honeycomb tyres mean no punctures, and the stabiliser arms front and rear keep it steady. Peter developed it for customers who wanted to get off the beaten path rather than just around the supermarket.
Three speed settings and a reverse button rather than gears, and a maximum user weight of 25 stone (160kg).

Can I order one now?

What is the maximum user weight?
25 stone, which is 160 kg. That is one of the reasons customers come to us for this machine rather than a lighter travel scooter, and it is worth checking against the small folding scooters sold elsewhere.
How far will it go, and how fast?
Up to around 15 miles on the 48V 10Ah lithium battery, at up to about 4 mph. It has two 350W motors rather than one, which is what lets it deal with hills and rough ground instead of struggling on anything that is not a flat pavement. The battery comes off to charge indoors.
Will it fit in a small car?
It folds in about three seconds with one lift of the bar, down to roughly 880 x 630 x 450 mm, and then wheels along behind you like a suitcase rather than needing to be carried. Most small car boots take it, but boot openings vary, so measure yours and ring us if it is close.
Can I buy it without paying VAT?
Possibly. Like the tricycle, it can be bought zero-rated for VAT if you are chronically sick or disabled, or if you are buying for someone who is. HMRC sets who qualifies, not us. You complete a short declaration in the basket, which is a legal statement and cannot be applied after the order is placed.
