The things customers ring up about most often, answered plainly.

Will this fit my bike or trike?
It suits our MK3, the 26 inch Electrobike Plus and the Tricycle. Check the voltage on your existing battery before you order, because 24V and 36V are not interchangeable and ordering the wrong one is the most common mistake people make. If you are not certain, ring us on 024 7630 3228 with the machine and roughly when you bought it and we will confirm it for you.
Do you still sell a 24V battery?
No. The 24V version has been discontinued, so if you have an older MK2 with a 24V system this battery will not fit it. Contact Motorsavers in Corby, Northamptonshire, who can put new lithium cells inside your old battery casing. We would rather send you to them than sell you something that does not fit.
What is the specification, and how long does it take to charge?
36V 13Ah lithium-ion, and about four hours from empty. It lifts off the machine, so you can charge it indoors in the warm rather than in a cold garage, which is better for the cells and easier on you.
How long should a battery last?
It depends far more on how it is looked after than on how many miles it does. Never charge a lithium battery that is freezing cold, bring it inside and let it warm up first, and do not leave it flat for months over the winter. We have customers still riding AS bikes that are 13 years old, and looked after batteries are a large part of why.
