Anyone unsure should ring before ordering. ## VAT relief — important, and often asked about The tricycle and the mobility scooter can be bought **zero-rated for VAT** by a customer who is chronically sick or disabled, or by someone buying on their behalf, under UK VAT relief rules. The prices shown on those product pages are the VAT-relief prices; the higher figure is the price including VAT. Choosing the relief price requires completing a declaration in the basket naming the disabled person, their condition and the person signing. This is a legal declaration, not a discount code, and it cannot be applied afterwards. Do not tell a customer they qualify.
